How to Make a Ribbon Christmas Tree

Ribbon is the perfect addition to any decoration! A Ribbon Christmas Tree is a great way to show off our style and embellishments of choice. Pick your favorite ribbon and make your tree sparkle this season!
  • 1 Secure wire ends

    Gather the wire ends of the tomato cage together and secure with a chenille stem.

  • 2 Attach garland

    Attach one end of the garland to the gathered end of the tomato cage by twisting the pine tips arounds the wires.

  • 3 Wrap garland

    Wrap the tomato cage with the garland, occasionally twisting the pine tips to the tomato cage for support. To prevent the garland from sliding down, occasionally twist the garland tips together.

  • 4 Fluff garland

    Fluff the garland out to give the tree a fuller shape.

  • 5 Wrap lights

    Wrap the lights around the tree.

  • 6 Attach pep berry garland

    Attach the pep berry garland to the top by twisting it around the garland; wrap it around the tree.

  • 7 Fluff pep berry garland

    Fluff open the pep berry garland.

  • 8 Fluff & arrange picks

    Fluff open bell picks and arrange them into the tree using the pine tips to secure them in place.

  • 9 Create & attach bow

    Following the instructions for the Bowdabra®, create a bow and attach it to the top of the tree.

  • 10 Cut & secure bow tails

    Cut long tails for the bow and secure them by twisting the pine tips to hold the ribbon in place.

  • 11 Secure tree onto pot

    Set the tree on the pot. If the pot is plastic, screws can be placed around the rim and the tree secured on top of the pot by twisting the pine tips to the screws.
