Burlap Canvas
Coordinating Scrapbook Papers of Choice
1 3/4'' Scalloped Square Punch
1'' Scalloped Circle Punch
1 1/2'' Scalloped Circle Punch
Red and White Bakers Twine
Doodlebug® Lily White Sprinkles
Foam Adhesive Dot
Hot Glue

How to Make a 3D Paper Tree

Spending an afternoon crafting this 3D Paper Tree project is a great way to get into the holiday spirit! Customize your tree to match your seasonal decor by choosing various holiday scrapbook papers. Once your finished, put some holiday songs on and find the perfect place to hang or display it in your home!
  • 1 Cut Paper

    Cut 2'' wide strips of paper, making a total of 14 strips.

  • 2 Arrange & Trim Paper

    Arrange papers and then trim lengths from 3/4'' - 5 1/2''.

  • 3 Roll & Glue Paper

    Wrap each strip around a pencil, then glue the paper along the edge and press it firmly to hold the shape. Slide the paper off of the pencil and arrange it on the canvas.

  • 4 Attach Paper

    Glue the rolled papers onto the canvas in the form of a tree.

  • 5 Make the Tree Trunk

    Punch out a small square and glue it slightly under the bottom roll for the trunk.

  • 6 Make the Tree Top

    Punch out a small circle, center it and glue it slightly under the top roll.

  • 7 Make the Tree Embellishment

    Punch out a large and a small circle. Stack them with a foam dot between and glue them onto the bottom left section of the tree.

  • 8 Embellish Circles

    Embellish the circles with a white sprinke.

  • 9 Add Bakers Twine

    Wrap the right side of the canvas 4 times arounf with the bakers twine and tie it in place.
