Use every day household items to make a one of a kind holiday tree decoration! These Clothespin Snowflakes make for simple, festive ornaments for all season long.
  • 1 Remove springs

Remove the springs from eight small clothespins and seven mini clothespins.

  • 2 Cut baker's twine

    Cut a 12" length baker's twine.

  • 3 Seperate clothespins

Seperate each clothespin. Lay the clothespins with the notch side down.

  • 4 Glue clothespins together

Lay the baker's twine into the notch of one clothespin and glue the other half of that clothespin on top. Squeeze both pieces firmly together.

  • 5 Glue small pieces together

Glue the remaining small clothespins together and allow to dry.

  • 6 Glue pieces together

Glue the top edges of two small clothespins together. Glue two more clothespins to form a plus sign. Glue the remaining four clothespins to form a snowflake. Let the glue set up.

  • 7 Glue mini snowflakes on big snowflakes

Using the photo as a guide, glue the mini clothespins on top of the snowflake to form another snowflake.
