How to Make a Gold Ribbon Christmas Angel

You can use basic craft supplies to make a beautiful Gold Ribbon Christmas Angel to bless your home during the holiday season! Just choose coordinating ribbon in three different widths, then loop and glue it onto foam and paper mache shapes to make an angel figure that you can displayas a centerpiece or accent.
  • 1 Create hole in foam ball

Using scissors, create a hole in the bottom of a foam ball to sit on top of the paper mache cone.

  • 2 Spread glitter glue

Spread glitter glue on the foam ball. Let dry completely.

  • 3 Cut 2" ribbon

Cut the 2" wide ribbon into 5" pieces.

  • 4 Fold bottom corners of ribbon

With the ribbon piece laying in front of you lengthwise, take the bottom 2 corners and fold them up to the center creating a triangular shape.

  • 5 Glue triangular ribbon

Starting near the bottom of the cone, work up and around to glue triangular pieces in place.

  • 6 Glue on ball

Glue ball on top of cone.

  • 7 Glue lace trim

Glue lace trim around the bottom of the ball and the top of the cone.

  • 8 Tie & attach bow

Create a bow to glue to the top front of the cone.

  • 9 Attach wings

Create an 8 loop bow and glue to the back of the cone for wings.

  • 10 Thread pearls

Thread 10 large pearls and 19 small pearls onto the memory wire. Cut the wire with 2" at each end.

  • 11 Attach halo

Straighten out the ends as much as possible, then bring the ends together and glue onto the back of the head as a halo.
