How to Make Sugared Floral Easter Ornaments

Decorate for Easter with Sugared Floral Easter Ornaments! Choose festive shapes such as a bunny, carrot and egg, add Riley Blake fabric and sprinkle a little glitter onto each ornament. Once complete, hang them on any indoor tree or shelf to be displayed all season long.
  • 1 Add fabric to the cutouts

Mod Podge® fabric to one side of each wood cutout. Let dry.

  • 2 Trim the fabric

Trim the fabric along the edges using an X-Acto® Knife.

  • 3 Sprinkle on glitter

Mod Podge® the cutouts again and sprinkle with glitter. Tap off excess and let dry.

  • 4 Repeat

Repeat steps 1 through 3 on the other side of the cutouts.

  • 5 Create a hole for hanging

Use an awl to poke a hole near the top of each cutout for hanging. Use a Dremel® to make the hole large enough to string with the thin ribbon.

  • 6 Cut & string the ribbon

Cut 12" lengths of ribbon for each ornament. String the ribbon through the hole and knot the ends.
