How to Make Father's Day Trinket Book Boxes

This Father's Day celebrate by giving Dad your favorite book, with a twist! These Father's Day Trinket Boxes are the perfect way for dads to organize all of his trinkets and treasures. Don't forget to give each book a clever title like "The Great Dadsby" or "Brave New Dad".
  • 1 Paint book cover Paint book cover

    Use a sponge brush to paint the cover of the book with acrylic paint.

  • 2 Paint pages Paint book pages

    Paint the pages of the book white.

  • 3 Add texture Add texture to pages

    Add texture to the sides of the box using a dry paint brush with light brown paint.

  • 4 Line box Line inside of box with paper

    Using Mod Podge and a foam brush, line the inside of the box with decorative paper.

  • 5 Add a title Add a title with alphabet stickers

    Add a title to the front of the book using letter stickers. To ensure the letters don't fall off, you can use Mod Podge.

  • 6 Decorate spine Decorate spine with contrasting paint

    Decorate the spine of the book with contrasting paint.

  • 7 Add details Add gold leaf detail

    Use a gold leafing pen to add lines and special details to the book spine.
