3mm White Foamies Sheet
White Chenille Stems
35 Strand Lights

How to Make a Deco Mesh Ghost

Boo! This spooky ghost will look absolutely frightful hanging from your ceiling! Whether you're decorating for a Halloween party or just for fun, you want to make multiple ghosts in a variety of sizes to haunt your home.
  • 1 Trim chenille stems

    Trim chenille stems to 4" pieces.

  • 2 Cut deco mesh

    Cut deco mesh roll in half.

  • 3 Cut smaller mesh into strips

    Cut smaller rolls into 7" wide strips. You will need approximately 40 strips.

  • 4 Shape mesh strip

    Roll a mesh strip into a tube shape. Fold in half and pinch at the center, making a "V" shape.

  • 5 Secure with chenille stem

    Secure with a chenille stem, twisting to hold the tube tight.

  • 6 Repeat for each mesh strip

    Repeat for each mesh strip, covering the wire sphere.

  • 7 Insert & secure lights

    Part loops and insert lights into sphere. Secure light to wire using a chenille stem.

  • 8 Tie tubing to sphere

    Tie tubing to wire sphere and wrap up cord.

  • 9 Glue on eyes

    Hot glue eyes to the front of the ghost.

  • 10 Glue on hands

    Cut a hand shape out of white Foamies and glue on the sides of the ghost.
