How to Make a DIY Halloween Banner

This DIY Halloween Banner is sure to be a boo-tiful addition to the décor in your home! You can hang it up for your annual Halloween bash or all season long. Either way, in a few simple steps you will have the perfect spooky and sparkly accent piece!

  • 1 Paint wood

    Paint 2 wood sections of the luminary white and the other 2 black. Let dry.

  • 2 Cut paper

    Cut the glitter paper to fit the back side of each section, with the black paper behind the white wood pieces and the white paper behind the black wood.

  • 3 Cut jute

    Cut a 40'' length of 4-ply jute.

  • 4 Glue jute

    Space the 4 wood pieces at 2-3'' apart face down on your table. Hot glue the jute across the top back of the pieces.

  • 5 Cut & tie ribbon

    Cut ribbons 8-10'' long and tie onto the jute in between the wood pieces.
