How to Make a Pumpkin Burlap Wreath

Adorn your front door with a beautiful Pumpkin Burlap Wreath! Grab a metal form decorate the wreath with festive burlap, colorful ribbon, soft feathers and more. Once complete, you'll have the perfect decor for the fall season!
  • 1 Cut the burlap

    Cut 2 pieces of 6" burlap 48" long.

  • 2 Fold in half

    Fold each in half and attach to what will be the bottom of the pumpkin.

  • 3 Attach the ends

    Attach the opposite ends to the top of the pumpkin.

  • 4 Fill in the pumpkin

    To fill in both sides, attach the burlap to the top of the pumpkin leaving a 9" tail. Then zigzag bottom/top, bottom/top then bottom/top/bottom.

  • 5 Attach the peach burlap

    Attach the peach burlap in between the 6" burlap attaching at the top and bottom.

  • 6 Glue the burlap

    Hot glue the 6" burlap over the frame on the edges to hold in place.

  • 7 Gather & tie the burlap

    Gather the ends of the 6" burlap on top and tie together usign a chenille stem.

  • 8 Tie raffia

    Tie a small bundle of raffia (8-12 strands) around the top.

  • 9 Cut & attach ribbon

    Cut 13" pieces of ribbon, fold in half and attach to the top of the pumpkin using chenille stems. Refer to the photo for guidance.

  • 10 Add feathers

    Hot glur 14 feathers of different colors and sizes in the top.

  • 11 Add leaves

    Hot glue 3-4 fall leaves amongst the feathers.

  • 12 Fray the ribbon

    Fray the ends of the 6" ribbon coming out of the top.
