How to Make a Stenciled Bird Art

Decorate for Spring with a Stenciled Bird Art panel! This panel is easy to decorate with a Martha Stewart Crafts® stencil and paint and will look great on any wall.
  • 1 Paint the panel

Paint the panel Summer Haze and let dry.

  • 2 Stencil the dogwood branch

Position the dogwood branch stencil at the top left of the panel. Use a pouncer to apply a small amount of Gray Wolf Paint onto the panel.

  • 3 Stencil the bird

Using the photo as a guide, position the bird on a branch stencil at the right side of the panel. Using a pouncer, apply a small amount of Arrowhead paint to the branch and a small amount of Slate Gray to the bird. Remove the stencil and let dry.

  • 4 Stencil the leaf branches

Using the photo as a guide, position the small leaf branch stencil at the left side of the panel between and under the branches. Mix a small amount of Arrowhead to the Gray Wolf Paint and apply with a pouncer to these areas.
