How to Make an Americana Welcome Wreath
This Americana Welcome Wreath will show your patriotic pride from Memorial Day, until long after the Fourth of July. Customize this rustic wreath with a selection of barn stars, and it's the perfect addition to any summer barbecue decor.

Paint wreath
Spray paint the wreath or add a small amount of paint and water to a spray bottle. Shake the bottle well and spritz paint onto wreath and let dry. It may take several applications to get desired effect.

Paint & ink welcome sign
Paint welcome sign dark blue and let dry completely. Sand edges and use a red or brown inkpad to ink the edges of the sign.

Position & glue sign
Position the sign toward the top center of the wreath. Hot glue ends onto the wreath.

Secure star garland
Cut 8" sections of thin gold wire to secure the star garland onto the wreath. Start to the left of the welcome sign, and go down and around the bottom portion of the wreath.

Glue barn star
Glue the U.S. barn star just above the star garland on the right.
