How to Make Campfire Cookies

Create an adorable campfire scene with this delicious recipe! This dessert is perfect for any summertime or fall gathering with its recreated logs, fire and marshmallows-all on a single cookie.
  • 1 Bake cookies

Bake cookies in circles according to package directions. Cool completely.

  • 2 Prepare icing

Prepare icing by mixing the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Slowly add milk until you reach the desired consistency. Make the icing green with the Wilton® food coloring.

  • 3 Ice the cookies

Add the icing to the cookies with an off-set saptula.

  • 4 Roast marshmallows

Roas the marshmallows. Roast three per cookie and place on the ends of three pretzel sticks.

  • 5 Add logs to cookies

Place three Tootsie Rolls® in a triangle shape on top of each iced cookie. Leave space between each.

  • 6 Add rocks to cookies

Spring the toffee around the Tootsie® Rolls.

  • 7 Add fire to cookies

Cut one orange, red and yellow gummies half per cookie and place in the center of the triangle of Tootsie® Rolls.

  • 8 Add tipi to cookies

Place the pretzels between each Tootsie Roll® with marshmallows at the top, leaning together at a point.
