How to Make a Patriotic Wreath

Celebrate Americana and create your own Patriotic Wreath! Bring your summertime design to life by making beautiful paper flowers on a Cricut® Maker. Add spanish moss and an American flag to complete this great decoration for your Fourth of July festivities.
  • 1 Create flowers

Using flower templates from Cricut® Design Space®, cut and roll approximately 50-60 different flowers of your choice. Use Aleene's® Turbo Tacky Glue to glue the flowers together. Use a pair of reverse tweezers to roll the flowers.

  • 2 Attach Spanish Moss

Attach the Spanish Moss to half of the wreath using hot glue.

  • 3 Attach flowers

Using hot glue, attach each flower onto the wreath. Allow the hot glue to soak through the Spanish Moss as it will adhere to the grapevine wreath. Hold in place for several seconds.

  • 4 Attach flag

Using hot glue, attach the flag to the wreath.

  • 5 Tips on making flowers

    1. Roll the flowers from the end and not the middle.

    2. Roll the flowers from right to left.

    3. Roll the flowers tight, then let unwind a little bit to give a more natural look.

    4. The daisies: Two flowers attached together using Aleene's® Turbo Tacky Glue.
