How to Make a Turkey Mesh Wreath

Decorate your door for the Thanksgiving season! A Turkey Mesh Wreath is a great way to welcome guests into your home while adding to the thankful season.
  • 1 Attach mesh

Gather the end of the mesh and attach it to the inner wire on the wreath form using a chenille stem.

  • 2 Continue attaching mesh

Measure out approximately 10" from where it's attached. Gather the mesh and attach it to the outer wire on the wreath form with a chenille stem. Continue in a zigzag pattern working around the wreath form, ending back in the center. Cut off the excess mesh.

  • 3 Attach hat

Attach the hat to the wreath with a chenille stem. Poke it through the hat and attach it to the wreath form.

  • 4 Add bow

Make and attach a 6" or 7" bow underneath the hat with chenille stem.

  • 5 Add the corn husk

Take the corn husk apart (all you need is the long husk leaves). Gather at the bottom with a chenille stem and attach it to the wreath form.

  • 6 Cut & attach floral garland

Cut 3-4 6" long pieces of floral garland and hot glue the garland to front and back of the husk leaves. (Use photo as reference.)

  • 7 Create legs

Using 2 12" pieces of jumbo chenille stems and 2 pieces of 4" regular chenille stems, twist together to create 2 leg forms.

  • 8 Attach copper glitter bush

Using the copper glitter bush, cut 2 pieces with 3 bumps and twist tightly around each leg.

  • 9 Attach legs

    Attach legs to wreath form.
