How to Make a Christmas Gnome Buddy

Decorate for the holidays with a Christmas Gnome Buddy! This trendy gnome is complete with white fur for his flowy beard, a beady nose and a vibrant red hat topped off with a jingle bell.
  • 1 Create the gnome's body & hat

Pin the body and hat patterns to the red felt and then cut them out.

  • 2 Create the gnome's beard

Pin the beard pattern onto the backside of the white fur with the point of the beard pointing down towards the "hairy" bottom edge of the fur. Be sure to cut only through the fabric backing on the fur. DO NOT cut through the fur itself with the scissors.

  • 3 Attach the gnome's body

Glue the felt body to the paper mache cone. Wrap and glue the bottom edge of the felt up inside of the cone.

  • 4 Attach the gnome's beard

Glue the beard onto the front of the felt covered cone.

  • 5 Attach the gnome's hat

Glue the bak-center edges of the red felt hat. When dry, turn up the bottom edge of the hat and place on top of the gnome's head.

  • 6 Attach the gnome's nose

Glue a wood bead nose at the center of the top edge on the beard.

  • 7 Attach the jingle bell

Glue a jingle bell onto the top of the hat.
