1" Wooden Circles
Red/White Baker's Twine
Fine Light Blue Glitter
Darice® Crystal AB Glitter
Mod Podge® Sponge Daubers
Hot Glue

How to Make Winter Woodland Garland

Bring the winter wonderland indoors with festive Garland! Use twine, paint, snowflakes, glitter and cut outs of furry woodland critters to create the perfect hanging piece for your mantle or doorway.
  • 1 Paint the circle garland

    Paint the wooden garland circles red and set aside to dry.

  • 2 Paint the critters

    Paint the fronts of the bear, fox and reindeer white and set aside to dry.

  • 3 Paint the snowflakes

    Paint the snowflakes blue and set aside to dry.

  • 4 Sprinkle glitter on critters

    Mod Podge® the bear, fox and reindeer and sprinkle with AB glitter. Tap off excess and set aside to dry.

  • 5 Sprinkle glitter on snowflakes

    Mod Podge® the snowflakes and sprinkle with light blue glitter. Tap off excess and set aside to dry.

  • 6 String the garland

    String the wooden circles onto the red and white twine.

  • 7 Prepare the snowflakes

    Glue a small wooden circle to the back of each snowflake.

  • 8 Attach the critters & snowflakes

    Glue the critters and snowflakers onto the wooden garland circles.
