Acyrilic Paint: Orange, Brown, Yellow, Green, Purple
Sponge Dabber
Paint Brush
Sand Paper

How to Make a DIY Fall Tray

Are you in the autumn spirit? Add this DIY Fall Tray to your assortment of kitchen utensils to bring the rustic look to your home this fall season! This tray is a simple craft that will bring fall fun to your home!
  • 1 Paint the pallet

    Water down the brown paint and brush all over the pallet. Allow some areas to be darker. Blot some areas with a rag. Let dry.

  • 2 Sand surface

    Lightly sand the surface of the wood and wipe down with a rag.

  • 3 Sponge stencil patterns

    Arrange the stencils and use the sponge dabbers to apply small amounts of paint. It's the best to start with the lighter colors, followed by the darker colors.

  • 4 Cut & knot the jute

    Cut two 14" sections of the 4-ply jute. Knot each section about 4" from each end.

  • 5 Staple cords

    Staple the cords to each end of the wood for handles.
