American Craft Paper Pad
Baker's Twine
Mod Podge
Flat Paint Brush
Straight Edge
Hot Glue

How to Make a Spring Birdhouse

Got green grass and blue skies on the mind? Start thinking spring with this colorful wooden birdhouse! Even a beginner can create the perfect patterned house for their feathered friends with some bright scrapbook paper, a little Mod Podge and some flower and butterfly embellishments.
  • 1 Measure & cut paper

    Measure and cut the sheets of paper to fit each section of the house.

  • 2 Adhere with Mod Podge

    Working in 1 area at a time, apply Mod Podge to the house, and then press the paper in place.

  • 3 Let dry

    Let paper dry completely.

  • 4 Wrap with twine

    Wrap Baker's twine around the bottom portion of the house and add a flower embellishment.

  • 5 Add embellishments

    If desired, add other embellishments onto the birdhouse.
