How to Make a Holiday Snow Decor

Brighten up your holiday with this Holiday Snow Decor! This votive scene is full of sparkly glitter and freshly fallen craft snow, glistening snowflakes and an adorably festive reindeer. Add an LED candle to give a calming glow to this decoration!
  • 1 Paint the shelf

Paint the wooden shelf blue and set aside to dry.

  • 2 Paint the reindeer & snowflakes

Paint the reindeer, front of tail, eye, antlers and snowflakes white with the sponge dauber. Set aside to dry.

  • 3 Paint the scarf

Paint the front of the scarf red using the sponge dauber. Set aside to dry.

  • 4 Add glitter to the snowflakes

Mod Podge® the snowflakes and sprinkle them with glitter. Tap off excess and let dry.

  • 5 Glue the reindeer together

Glue the reindeer together. Glue several spools to the back of the reindeer.

  • 6 Attach the reindeer & snowflakes

Arrange and glue the snowflakes and reindeer to the shelf.

  • 7 Add snow

Spread some True Snow onto the base in front of the reindeer and place the votive in the snow. Sprinkle some glitter onto the snow and let dry.

  • 8 Add the candle

Place the LED candle into the glass votive.
