How to Make a Forest Friend

Fall has arrived and so have our Forest Friends! Use a leaf, buttons, chenille stems and a craft tube to create an adorable buddy that can tag along during all of your outdoor activities this season!
  • 1 Create the body

Use a glue stick to cover a craft tube with 4 1/2" x 6" cardstock.

  • 2 Create the arms

Use a hole punch to make two arm holes, one on each side of the tube. Make sure the cardstock glued seam is on the back of the tube.

  • 3 Create the head

Use a glue stick to attach a leaf for a head at one end of the tube.

  • 4 Attach the eyes

Put two sticky-back eyes on the leaf for the Forest Friend's face.

  • 5 Attach the nose

Use a mini Glue Dot® to stick a 3mm pom pom nose onto the leaf below the eyes.

  • 6 Attach the arms

Use half of a chenille stem, 6" in length, to slide through the punched arm holes. Bend 1/2" hands at each end and pose the arms as desired.

  • 7 Attach the buttons

Use Glue Dots® to stick on two buttons on the front of the Forest Friend.
