How to make a Deer in the Woods Card

The holiday season is here and this homemade Deer in the Woods Card is the perfect gift for your friends or family! Use festive cardstock, decorative stamps and a trusty Cricut® Maker to create this one-of-a-kind card.
  • 1 Stamp the trees

Using the stamp and black ink, stamp an evergreen tree onto a piece of scrap paper, allowing some of the ink to come off of the stamp and then stamp the card base. The tree will show up lightly in the background, creating depth. Continue to do this all the way across the top of the card.

  • 2 Continue stamping the trees

Stamp more trees in front of the light trees that were created in the previous step. Do not get rid of the excess ink this time as the trees will appear darker and closer than the trees in the background, creating depth. Using the glue runner, attach the card base to the card.

  • 3 Create the deer

Using the Cricut® Makeror a stencil, cut out a deer and assemble. Use the glue to attach the deer to the card.

  • 4 Stamp & attach the Christmas message

Using a stamp, stamp a Christmas message on a piece of cream cardstock. Use a punch and cut out the Christmas message in the shape of a small oval. Use the other punch to cut out a larger oval on the olive green cardstock. Glue the ovals together and attach them to the card.
